要 旨
This study aims to examine the relationships between hypnotic susceptibility of Stanford Hypnotic Susceptibility Scale; Form C (SHSS-C) and ideomotor actions are performed as pendulum movements in response to Chevreul's Pendulum (CP). Thirty seven college students were evaluated the length and rotation movement in the CP, and compared with both total scores and sub-scores of SHSS-C. Results of the Jonckheere-Terpstra test indicated that the larger responses of CP the participants showed, the higher susceptibility scores they performed in SHSS-C. These findings suggested that the aspects of CP response could be a predictable validity tool in terms of the hypnotic susceptibility in SHSS-C.
